Today I’m chatting with a wonderful human being who has an amazing drive and passion for what she does.

Within a few years, she’s gone from selling an individual service to scaling her business to seven figures.

Back when Caitlin was taking time off to be a full-time mother, she felt herself getting restless, as the ‘CEO’ inside of her was trying to come out.

After helping out a friend with her business’ social media, she realized the potential and started up a service business

Upon making $1,500 a month, she felt on top of the world.

However, there would be many milestones to achieve and multiple lessons to be learned, as this was only the beginning.

While Caitlin has accomplished things that most people could only dream of, she’s not content to rest on her laurels.

Next year she’s shooting for $4 million.

However, it’s not just money that motivates her.

Her bigger mission is to help underrepresented individuals enhance and improve their standings.

She wants to help others “claim their seat at the table”.

  • Hustle hard – Caitlin enjoyed setting up social media strategies for others and hustled hard to get as many one on one sessions as she could. This led to her doubling her monthly revenue. In the early days, you have to put in the work. Be smart, of course, but be prepared to hustle.
  • Developing a framework – After doing so many one on one calls, there were certain patterns that began to emerge. This would provide her with the framework to create her own online course. Are there patterns in the service that you provide which consistently lead to a successful outcome? If so, get them out of your head and on to paper.
  • Going all in – After trying to provide several online courses, Caitlin eventually found her niche. She became very passionate about Facebook Groups and decided to go all in and focus on offering a single course for this niche. Going all in and becoming the dominant force in your niche will allow you to take your business to the next level.
  • Who’s going to support you? – Caitlin is quick to point out that she could never achieve success on her own. She advises that once you set a big goal, you need to find people who will support you. Whether it’s mastermind groups, a coach, or whatever is needed to take you to the next level, never skimp on your professional development.
