Every single piece of content should have a call to action.
If this isn’t the case for you then now is a good time to carry out a social media audit.
Ideally, you never want your potential clients to be more than 2 steps away from buying from you.
Don’t make your clients jump through hoops unless you want to repel them.
If they want you to solve their problem, then make it as easy as possible for them to buy from you.
Make each call to action as obvious as possible.

- Get clear on the end result – Before creating content, determine what you’re ultimately trying to achieve. Then you can reverse-engineer. Each piece of content should help to walk someone through your sales cycle, getting them toward your desired outcome. Inspirational quotes may make someone feel good for a second, but it’s not going to lead to a deep transformation… or a sale.
- Pick ONE platform – This is exactly what we advise in the POP Method. While you may see me on Instagram and other platforms, my first twelve months were spent solely on Facebook. This intense focus on one platform is what allowed me to develop the amazing Facebook Community that so many of you are enjoying. It’s now one of my most profitable assets.
- What’s the best medium for delivering a message? – You have to choose whether you prefer audio, written, or video content. I like to use Live video because it converts so much better than other mediums. It also gets you out of your comfort zone, which feels amazing!
- What’s the next step? – Imagine you go to hear someone speak. You feel a deep connection and know they have the solution to a problem you have. But, when they finish their speech they simply leave without you having any idea on how to contact them or get access to their solution. Make sure you don’t frustrate your audience in this way. Always have a ‘next step’ to help them buy from you.
